Being Denver’s amazing movers means we believe in good citizenship and contributing back to the community. We have a Charity Committee that includes eight staff members and meets every month to plan our charitable involvement. Below are the charities that we support and a brief explanation of our involvement.
Move For Hunger
The Move For Hunger charity connects moving companies with food banks in their area. Since 2013, we have raised money for this organization to benefit local Denver food banks. Our 2nd Annual Truck Pull is on September 11, 2016. The event brings people together in teams to pull an Amazing Moves Truck with a rope from a start line to the finish line. In 2015, we raised $10,000 at our Truck Pull. We hope to see you at this years' Truck Pull.
American Diabetes Association - Tour De Cure Colorado
We have been involved with the American Diabetes Association and specifically the Tour de Cure Colorado for some years. We have an Amazing Moves team in the race which is made up of friends and family of the company. Each year we ride to raise money, and we also provide all the moving and logistics assistance to make the event a success. To date, we have raised over $48,000 for the American Diabetes Association.
Coats for Colorado
From October 1st through November 30th, we partner with Coats for Colorado and collect coats from our moving customers and store them at our facility. We then deliver them to Coats for Colorado on December 1st.
National MS Society
We proudly support the MS Society by helping one of our clients who rides in the MS150 Bike Ride each year.
Denver Police BrotherhoodWe proudly support the men and women in blue who serve our community.
Littleton Fire FightersWe contribute to the Littleton Fire Fighters so that they can continue to support our community.
Cancer League of ColoradoA portion of our revenue in October is donated each year to the Cancer League of Colorado, which supports innovative cancer research and cancer-related services in Colorado.
Project Aspire provides financial, educational, mentoring, and coaching resources to support women to become leaders in their fields of interest and contributors in the community. We are proud to support them.
Women’s Crisis and Family OutreachIn 2015, we donated gifts to four families from their respective wish lists. We also provided the moving and logistics for the organization’s move to their new Elizabeth office
Denver Dumb Friends LeagueTheir mission is to end pet homelessness and animal suffering, and we are proud to support this worthy organization.
Rocky Mountain Youth Clinic
Rocky Mountain Youth Clinics (RMYC) provides accessible, affordable, high-quality health care and support programs to children and youth across Colorado. We have provided moving services to help them transport food from Food Bank of the Rockies to the Rocky Mountain Youth Clinic’s Food Pantry.
