• Clean out gutters. Remove leaves, grime, and sediment.
• Check the exterior of your home for paint chippings and any winter damage. Check for holes on brick homes.
• Check the foundation for any cracks. Use caulk if needed.
• Consider having your air conditioning or swamp cooler serviced before the summer.
• Clear dead plants and shrubs from the house. You don’t want overgrown vegetation to cause cracks and holes on the exterior of your home.
• Check trees for interference with electric lines. Have them professionally trimmed if necessary.
• Inspect roof for damage, leaks, etc.
• Check wood decks and fences for rotting.
