Cliff Palace is the largest cliff dwelling in Mesa Verde National Park. Comprised of over 150 individuals rooms and more than 20 kivas, which are rooms designated for religious rituals, the dwelling is more than 700 years old. A ranger-guided tour will take you through the park, where you'll find a unique piece of history. To many, the doors in the cliff dwellings look abnormally small, but when people inhabited the dwellings at Cliff Palace, the average man was only 5'4”.
