Kirkland Museum Grand Opening | March 10
September 10th of 2015 marked the groundbreaking of the new location of the Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art. The historic museum is moving across town into the Golden Triangle's Creative District and is set to open on March 10th. The Kirkland museum features more than 30,000 pieces in three different collections including a decorative arts collection that contains work that spans more than a century of history.

St. Patrick's Day Parade | March 17
Since 1962, more than 300 volunteers have worked to put on the annual Denver St. Patrick's Day Parade. Downtown's Blake Street gets a makeover in honor of the holiday, with a green stripe painted by the City of Denver and the annual “changing of the sign” that renames Blake Street to Tooley Street. The yearly event has grown to feature marching bands, livestock, and even the Denver Police Departments K-9 unit and is one of the most widely attended events in the city.

Denver March Powwow | March 23 - March 25
The 44th annual Denver March Powwow will take place in late March. This social gathering marks a time for Indian people to come together and celebrate their heritage. The weekend-long event will feature modern Powwow dancing, which is derived from the traditional dancing of various tribes. Rockies Home Opener | April 6
The Colorado Rockies are taking on the Atlanta Braves in the 2018 Home Opener on April 6th.
